As an outgoing Evergreen Park and Recreation District board member, I cannot overemphasize the importance of upcoming elections on May 3. Voters have the choice of electing three new EPRD board members from a slate of eight candidates. Candidates have the potential to determine the fate of major projects facing EPRD, including improvements to the pool at Wulf Recreation Center, another possible bond issue and a large indoor facility for turf sports. Information on candidates and a videotape of the Candidates Forum held on April 13 can be found on our website at evergreenrecreation.com/154/Board-of-Directors. Your vote is important, so get out and vote.

Peg Linn, EPRD Board Member, Evergreen
