Evergreen and Foothills firefighters quickly doused a grass fire in the El Rancho area May 11 that burned less than a quarter acre.

Firefighters got to the scene quickly and aggressively attacked the flames, according to Stacee Martin, spokeswoman for Evergreen Fire/Rescue. The fire was on Nob Hill at Industrial Way, which is on the south side of Evergreen Parkway west of the Walmart.

Martin said the fire’s cause is under investigation.
