Westbound Interstate 70 is reopened from Golden/Morrison exit to Genesee after a vehicle fire early Tuesday afternoon.

A call came in at 11:40 a.m. that an RV pulling a Jeep was on fire. As of 12:15 p.m., no injuries had been reported, Trooper Josh Lewis of Colorado State Patrol said.

During the closure, traffic was backed up along westbound Interstate 70 and traffic exiting C-470 was affected as well.

This is a developing story. The Courier will provide updates as more information becomes available.
