For the Courier
AURORA — It doesn’t matter which sport you are competing in It is always difficult to beat the same team three times in the same season. Evergreen’s varsity baseball season came to an abrupt end May 17 as the Cougars failed to defeat Green Mountain for a third time this year.
The Rams won 8-2 as part of the double-elimination 4A state tournament at Cherokee Trail High School. This season was special for the Cougars (18-5).
