The Platte Canyon school board will hold a special meeting Monday night to discuss plans to search for a new superintendent. Members of the community will have the opportunity to provide input on the search and possible candidates. Randy Black, director of member relations with the Colorado Association of School Boards, will be presenting information to school board members about CASB's superintendent search process.

The meeting is in response to news last week that current superintendent Brenda Krage will leave Platte Canyon Schools at the end of the school year to take a job as the new superintendent of Florence-Penrose School District in Fremont County.
