A free legal clinic for people with no attorney will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at the Evergreen Library, 5000 Highway 73, Evergreen. The next clinic will be June 7. By computer link, volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms, and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation. The project will utilize up to 100 volunteers to break ground on a new, multi-use trail system that will eventually connect to Clear Creek Canyon and the Peaks to Plains Trail. Memorial golf tournament

A memorial golf tournament for Teddy Wetzel, who died last August, will begin at 4 p.m. June 4 at Hiwan Golf Club. The tournament is a nine-hole, five-person scramble. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. Cost for golf and dinner will be $70 and dinner only will be $23. This is also a charity event to raise money for his memorial field at EHS. Ute Indian prayer trees

The 12th Annual Molly-Dharma Run for motorcyclists will be Sunday, June 10. Book talk on Quimby’s ‘Inhabited’

Suzanne Dahlberg will host the second of five book talks at HearthFire Books and Treats in Bergen Park on Tuesday, June 19, at 6 p.m. She will lead the book discussion of Charlie Quimby’s “Inhabited,” a sister novel to “Monument Road,” the author’s debut novel that takes place in Grand Junction.
