GOP candidates for U.S. Senate winnowed at state convention; Neville fails to make primary ballot

A few days before the state Republican Party convention at which candidates for the U.S. Senate primary were to be chosen, state Sen. Tim Neville of Littleton said he would put his trust in God and the delegates. 

Neville was one of many contenders seeking the GOP nomination in the race against Democratic U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet — a group that initially included Jeffco Commissioner Don Rosier and former state Rep. Jon Keyser of Morrison.
