Former EHS standout in cross country, track injured in fall

Ryan Haebe, a former standout cross country and track runner for Evergreen High School, remained in critical condition in the intensive care unit at Boulder Community Hospital on July 10 after injuries he suffered in a 13-foot fall three days earlier.
The 21-year-old Western State University student, along with friends, was attempting to climb to the roof of an apartment complex in the 800 block of Walnut Street in Boulder at approximately 2:10 a.m. on July 7 when he slipped, Boulder police spokeswoman Kim Kobel said in a news release.
