Fireweed Brewing has changed its name to Lariat Lodge because of a potential trademark conflict.

The brewpub isn't open for business yet, but it's expected to open in September in the former Evergreen Conference Center with about 100 seats.

Brewery owners Anders and Debbie Ruikka have posted pictures of the brewpub's new logo on a social media site. Glacier Distillery in Montana has a Fireweed Whiskey listed on its website. Fireweed is a purple flower that often grows in areas ravaged by wildfires.

The Ruikkas are looking for community input about what types of beers to brew, and plan to ask about food and entertainment in the future.

"Because we're proud to be creating a place that's tailored to what our community wants, we'd love to hear what you'd like to see," Debbie Ruikka said on the social media site.
