Active4All raises $14,000 at Lake Plunge

The Evergreen Lake Plunge raised $14,000, a remarkable achievement considering the Active4All Foundation took over organizing the event at the 11th hour, according to a member of the foundation board.

Alan Gionet, a foundation board member, made a presentation about the event, the foundation and its plans at the April 23 Evergreen Park & Recreation District board meeting. He said the plunge, a New Year’s Day tradition, had 165 participants and several sponsors who helped the organization raise the money.
