Voters in the Evergreen Fire Protection District can expect to see a property tax adjustment question from the fire district on their ballots this fall — but it won’t have a specific dollar amount attached.
Discussed briefly at the fire board’s Aug. 14 meeting, the “no-dollar ask” will request permission from taxpayers to increase or decrease the district’s mill levy annually as needed — starting in 2020 — to offset revenue losses associated with the Gallagher Amendment.
