The Evergreen Park and Recreation District has closed the playground area at Marshdale Park to replace the equipment and make improvements to the walking path.
According to EPRD Executive Director Ellen O’Connor, the playground area is expected to be closed until early November. However, she added that depends on the weather.
The playground replacement is one of the district’s 2016 creative improvement projects, and it secured a $95,000 grant from Jeffco Open Space toward the effort. The project is expected to cost $285,000.
