Boggs’ statements paint a distorted picture
    Editor:
Why did I help write and sign the letter/petition to bar Jeffco Board of Education member Laura Boggs from moderating the April 30 Evergreen budget forum?
I currently chair the Strategic Planning and Advisory Planning Committee, the Jeffco School District’s state-mandated accountability committee. This committee also functions as an advisory committee to the Jeffco school board.

On March 6, the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce hosted the Harlem Ambassadors professional show basketball team for a night of high-flying slam dunks, hilarious comedy, and feel-good family entertainment.
The Harlem Ambassadors would like to extend a special thank-you to event organizers Kris Grimshaw and Lin Browning, who planned and promoted the game.

Now we know where Gerou stands
    Editor:
I live in Cheri Gerou’s district. Now I know exactly where she stands with regard to taking care of children. Nice job, Ms. Gerou, denying funding for breakfast to children whose parents for whatever reason are poor.
Every child (rich, poor, immigrant) has the right to an education, and a child who hasn’t had breakfast can’t learn.
