    Adding bore to Twin Tunnels moves problem to Evergreen

    I’m not sure how attentive Evergreen residents have been about what’s going on with the I-70 mountain corridor, but it looks like they’ll be suffering some serious consequences within the next couple of years if CDOT follows through on its plans to widen the eastbound Twin Tunnel bore near Idaho Springs.

    Vote on short-term rentals ignored constituents

    A majority of publicly mentioned opinion was against short-term rentals. The Jeffco Planning Commission recommendation was against short-term rentals.
    So the county commissioners voted in favor of them? Was this a philosophical or monetary expression? It certainly does not appear to be a constituent-driven conclusion.

    In this economy it is sometimes difficult to come up with something for which we are or should be thankful. Living in Evergreen, however, makes thankfulness an easy task. We are blessed to live in this community. Last week proved this to be so true.
