Canines from the small to the tall, along with their owners, roamed Heritage Grove in Evergreen on Saturday as part of Pawfest, the Evergreen Animal Protective League’s day dedicated to man’s best friend.
The park was filled with booths promoting dog products, dog services and dog adoptions. An agility course was set up, and the stage was the site of a dog costume competition, as well as a dog-and-owner look-alike contest.
And there were dogs. Lots of dogs. St. Bernards and Great Danes mingled with pugs, Labs and golden retrievers.
