    Joseph John “Bud” Rebeck, 80, of Evergreen passed away Nov. 6, 2011.
    Bud was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, an avid outdoorsman and spent the last years of his life volunteering as a member of the Blue Spruce Kiwanis of Evergreen.

  • Ilse Brooks, 85

    Ilse Brooks passed away at St. Johns Hospice on Nov. 5, 2011. She was 85.
    She was born in Germany.
    She was survived by four children, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
    She was employed for 20 years at Evergreen Drug Store.

  • Floribel (Noni) Hamilton, 86

    Noni Hamilton of Evergreen passed away Monday night, Nov. 7.
    She is survived by her son John Hamilton and family of Montana, and her daughter Candice Binsted and family of Evergreen.
    Noni was a loving wife and mother and adored by many in the community. Born in North Hollywood, Calif., Noni graduated from Sherwood Music School, often playing as a studio musician for recording talents. Noni worked at Lockheed Aircraft, where she met and married Wes Hamilton.

    Alexandria Marie Simmons, 22, of Morrison passed away Oct. 6, 2011, at Parker Adventist Hospital.

    Richard W. “Dick” Burrows died at his home on Oct. 25, 2011. He was born May 22, 1930.

  • Virginia Field Schulte

    Virginia Field Schulte passed away Oct. 21, 2011, at Porter Hospital in Denver.

    Along with being an amazing mom, Dinny will be remembered and cherished by her family and friends for her inspirational strength, courage, outgoing and friendly personality, and bright smile with signature dimple. Her strength of character and vibrant lust for life made an impression on all who knew her.

    Virginia was born on May 16, 1946, in New York, N.Y., to James A. and Adele Field Danver.

  • Valerie Joan Henjum, 60

    Valerie Joan Henjum, 60, a 13-year resident of Conifer, passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, after a courageous 4½-year battle with breast cancer.

     

    She was a flight attendant with United Airlines for 30 years and loved to travel extensively. She was a member of Clipped Wings and volunteered as a DIA welcoming representative. Her community involvement included membership at Rockland Community Church in Golden, and she was a member of a Bunco group in Conifer.

  • Phyllis ‘Phyl’ Beverley Mendenhall Duncan, 87

    A memorial service for Phyllis ‘Phyl’ Beverley Mendenhall Duncan will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at Rockland Community Church. Pastor Ken Williams will preside.

    The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Phyl's memory to Mt. Evans Hospice, 3081 Bergen Peak Drive, Evergreen, CO, 80439.
