Evergreen resident and Texas native Felesha Snider rounds the second barrel during the barrel racing competition at the 49th annual Evergreen Rodeo on Saturday. This was Snider’s first time racing in Evergreen.
Snider takes in the Evergreen Rodeo

Felesha Snider moved to Evergreen three years ago, but the on-again, off-again barrel racer had never competed in the Evergreen Rodeo until June 20. It was well worth the wait.

“It was great. It was awesome. I wish my run would’ve been a little faster, but I’m proud of my horse. He hasn’t been running barrels very long. He’s kind of new at it. It felt good,” the Granbury, Texas, native said.
