Parents protest firing of six faculty members at Rocky Mountain Academy

The sole remaining member of the school board for Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen is calling a community meeting Saturday — after a week that saw seven board members resign; the school’s executive director fire six faculty members; and parents and students protesting in front of the school.

Kyle Stults, a parent member of the board, did not resign with the remaining voting members on Oct. 13. Stults has the authority to appoint a board, and plans to make appointments and conduct a board meeting Monday night.
