Thanks to recent rainfall and cooler temperatures, fireworks at the Indian Hills July 4th celebration are expected to light the night on Friday evening.
After two years with no fireworks because of dry and hot conditions, organizers are happy to announce the return of fireworks to Indian Hills Fire-Rescue’s annual celebration — if the weather cooperates.
“This is one of the coolest summers I can recall,” said Fire Chief Emery Carson. “It’s looking good for fireworks.”
