Two benefits are planned in early November for those affected by the Sept. 13 Bear Creek flooding, and organizers hope people will rally to support those in Evergreen who suffered from the damage.
On Nov. 2, five bands will perform and dinner will be provided from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 27972 Iris Drive, with proceeds benefiting businesses, employees and homeowners who were affected by the flooding. Tickets cost between $25 and $35, and include a special shirt that says “Evergreen Flood, Sept. 13, 2013, Give where you live, work and play.”
