Thomas Lee Crader, Dec. 14, 1950 – Dec. 29, 2011

Thomas Lee Crader, 61, of Evergreen, formerly of Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at his brother’s home in Jefferson City.
He was born on Dec. 14, 1950, in Jefferson City, the son of the late Charles Royal and Matilda Buersmeyer Crader.
He attended St. Joseph Catholic School and St. Peter Catholic School, and was a graduate of Helias High School. Tom served with the Missouri National Guard.
Tom had worked for Cole County Road Works while living in Missouri and as a self-employed carpenter, specializing in custom natural stonewalls in Colorado.
He was an avid baseball fan of the Colorado Rockies. He loved to return to Missouri in the spring to mushroom hunt and spend time in the outdoors.
Survivors include two brothers, Dick (Barbara) Crader of Jefferson City, Larry (Carol) Crader of Jefferson City, and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Charles Crader and James Crader Sr., also preceded him in death.
Funeral services were on Dec. 31, 2011, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Jefferson City with Rev. Doug Crader officiating.
Memorials are suggested to the Leukemia Research Foundation, 3520 Lake Ave., Suite No. 202, Wilmette, IL 60091-1064, or to the Special Learning Center, 1115 Fairgrounds Road, Jefferson City, MO 65109; or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
