Directed by:  Kelly McAllister

Classes start:  August 20, 2013

Rehearsals:  Tuesdays & Sundays

Tech Week:  Oct 5 - 10, 2013

Performances:  Oct 11 - 26, 2013
Fees:  $120 per month

Description:  "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying" - From the author of Guys and Dolls, this is a satire of big business; tackling such familiar but potent dangers as the aggressively compliant "company man," the office party, backstabbing co-workers, caffeine addiction and, of course, true love. The hero is a window washer named J. Pierrepont Finch.  After Finch happens upon a book entitled 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying', he decides to begin his rise up the corporate ladder. Following the instructions of the book, Finch lands a job in the mailroom at the World Wide Wicket Company. With the help of his handy book, Finch quickly gains promotions and outsmarts his rival, Frump - who also happens to be the boss's nephew...but we are changing this to a NIECE (a conniving, arrogant "bootlicker" who tries to advance her career by exploiting her family connections).  Finch then gains the love of Rosemary, a secretary at the company. In the end, however, after Finch's ad campaign goes awry, the book can no longer help him. He is forced to rely on his own wits.

GRADES High School (9th - 12th) "Little Women, the Broadway Musical" (December 2013)

Rehearsals:  Monday & Wednesday

Tech Week:  Dec 1 - Dec 5, 2013

Performances:  Dec. 5-14, 2013

Description:  “Little Women, the musical” - Based on Louisa May Alcott's own family experiences (and novel), Little Women, follows the adventures of The March sisters — brassy, tomboy-like, aspiring writer Jo, romantic Meg, pretentious Amy, and kind-hearted Beth — and their beloved Marmee, at home in Massachusetts while the family patriarch is away serving as a Union Army chaplain during the Civil War. Intercut with the vignettes in which their lives unfold are several recreations of the melodramatic short stories Jo writes in her attic studio.  This narrative has been brought to life as an exhilarating new musical filled with spectacular music, dancing and heart. Little Women embodies the complete theatrical experience, guaranteeing a night filled with laughter, tears, and a lifting of the spirit. Features mostly females but there are a few strong male roles as well.

Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. As luck would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever.
