Tenney fires opening-round 93 on first day of 4A state tourney
GREELEY — Evergreen sophomore Madison Tenney shot a 20-over 93 during the first day of the two-day 4A girls golf state championship May 21 at Boomerang Golf Course.
Tenney opened with a double bogey on No. 10 and was 5-over after three holes before settling into a groove of four pars over the final six holes on the back nine.
She birdied the Par-4, 308-yard No. 4.
