The two defensive ends contain and move to the quarterback in pincer-like fashion. The two defensive tackles batter the interior, disrupting blocking schemes, eating up running backs and allowing the linebackers behind them to flow to the ball.
The Evergreen Cougars, coming off a 3-7 campaign, believe they have one of the most talented run-stopping, quarterback-attacking lines that they’ve had in recent memory this season. They at least have all the right pieces.
