Some Bergen kids had a ripping story to tell their parents around the dinner table on Monday.
As their school bus drove along the snow-deep streets at about Inverness and Canterbury in the Hiwan Country Club, they got clipped by a county plow truck. It was a glancing blow and, according to Jefferson County Schools spokewoman Lynn Setzer, damage was minimal.
“And I’m glad to say that none of the kids were hurt,” says Setzer. “They took the kids off until a replacement bus arrived, and then they just went on home.”
