The Jeffco school board voted 4-1 at its June 7 meeting to put two property-tax increase questions on the Nov. 6 general election ballot. Voter approval of both would mean a net $40 annual increase in taxes on a $250,000 home.
County residents will vote on a mill-levy increase that would generate $39 million and a bond issue that would allow the district to borrow $99 million.
