LITTLETON — Jackson Sayler didn’t want to be the guy who just sat on the lead and then outkick everybody else at the end. He wanted to run his own race.
Well, Evergreen teammate Sam Sahli made sure that Sayler wasn’t too far in front at the 4A Jeffco League championships Oct. 12 at Clement Park. Yet, Sayler still, as he said, ran his race and won the league title for the second time in three seasons.
