Residents make case against fire training facility to Jeffco planners

Bergen Park residents Greg Meyerhoff and Lynn Rehkopf told the Jeffco Planning Commission that they do not want a fire training facility built near their homes during the public comment portion of the commission’s Oct. 24 meeting.

The Evergreen Fire Protection District has filed a site plan for the proposed facility; a hearing is scheduled Nov. 7 before the Planning Commission.
