Evergreen Lake Park is being degraded by overuse, said residents who attended the June 25 park district board meeting to express their concerns.
“You have fishing and other activities in every place,” said Evergreen resident Sylvia Robertson. “Banks are crumbling into the creek. … Parking is a nightmare.
“You’re not taking care of this unique place. You’re marketing to the folks in Denver.”
