The Evergreen Park and Recreation District will hold neighborhood forums in April to provide residents information about its programs and policies and to hear their interests and concerns.
The meetings will be at four locations in the district: the Buchanan and Wulf rec centers, the Evergreen Lake House and the Kittredge Civic Center.
Attendees can learn about new park district rules, upcoming events and programs offered at the rec centers. They will also have the opportunity to meet Jason Garner, the recently hired district park ranger, and receive information about a new park volunteer program.
Park maintenance standards and the relationship of the Jeffco Sheriff’s Office and other governmental agencies with the district also will be discussed at the meetings.
EPRD Executive Director Scott Robson, Lake House supervisor Brad Bednar, parks supervisor Heart Cameron and recreation manager Ellen O'Connor will be at the meetings to present information and answer questions.
