Evergreen junior Kyle Peterson tied with four others for 16th with a 10-over-par 154 at the two-day 4A boys golf state championship at The Links at Cobble Creek in Montrose on Oct. 1-2.
“Kyle P. was just a bit off at state. His putter or the greens or the combination of both is where he slipped a little,” Evergreen head coach Mike Kuzava said. “But he’s got one year left, and I know he’ll do what it takes to get back into the top-10 next time around. He is the heart of our team.”
