Park district board approves community garden project

The Evergreen Park and Recreation District board approved an agreement for a community garden project that Evergreen’s Alliance for Sustainability is planning at Buchanan Park at the Oct. 23 meeting.

Designed in two phases, the project includes developing garden plots, placement of a fence to deter wildlife, and renovation of an existing structure for an educational center.
