Mountain area nonprofits say thanks for Colorado Gives Day donations
Editor:
On behalf of the mountain area nonprofit coalition, we would like to thank everyone who made Colorado Gives Day 2013 a huge success.
Together our organizations made more than $325,000. Thank you from Art for the Mountain Community, Blue Spruce Habitat for Humanity, Bootstraps Inc., Center for the Arts Evergreen, Evergreen Audubon, Evergreen Children’s Chorale, Evergreen Chorale, Evergreen Christian Outreach, Evergreen Country Day School, Evergreen Players, Into Your Hands Africa, Jefferson County Library Foundation, Jeffco Schools Foundation, Mountain Area Land Trust, Mountain Area Pregnancy Center, Mt. Evans Home Health and Hospice, PeaceWorks Inc., Seniors’ Resource Center and Starfish One by One — Girls Matter.
ColoradoGives.org, sponsored by the Community First Foundation, makes it simple to donate to your favorite nonprofits at any time through a secure online transaction. Community First began Colorado Gives Day four years ago to encourage people to give to their favorite causes on one day in December. The first year, 8.7 million in donations were received. On Dec. 10, 2013, 88,000 people donated a record-breaking $20.9 million to 1,442 nonprofits in Colorado.
We appreciate your support, as it shows how much you care about the work our organizations are doing in the mountain community.
Thank you.
