Oakes dominates All-State Games

GREELEY — Tricia Oakes was sick June 14. And that described her game and her health.

The Evergreen graduate was struggling with bronchitis at the 52nd annual Colorado High School

Coaches Association All-State Games at the University of Northern Colorado, a plight that didn’t feel any better inside the humid Butler Hancock Sports Pavilion.

Oakes, bound for Colgate, certainly didn’t look like it bothered her.
