DENVER — Evergreen girls basketball coach Amy Mohr kept her emotions in check after the Lady Cougars’ 39-33 loss at George Washington on Jan. 4. The first-year coach laid the blame on her team’s defeat with its play and precarious shooting. But it would’ve been so easy to have looked at the questionable officiating and foul-shooting discrepancy, especially in the fourth quarter, that turned a close game into one Evergreen was fighting an uphill battle to win.
