Conor P. McMahon of Boulder was killed Oct. 19 when his motorcycle hit a car on Highway 74 west of Morrison.
McMahon, 27, was several cars back from an Audi sedan that was preparing to make a left turn. McMahon apparently tried to pass the cars and collided with the Audi as it began its turn, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
McMahon hit the brakes, and the motorcycle went on its left side before colliding with the Audi. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Jefferson County coroner. McMahon was wearing a helmet
