Mertie Scott Saturday, 78, of Palm Harbor, Fla., passed away on June 6, 2012. She was born in Tampa, Fla., and lived in Evergreen for many years.

She is survived by her loving family: husband Earl A. Taylor; her son, Terry D. Saturday and his wife, Brenda, and her son Rick Saturday. 

The family received friends on June 9, 2012, at the Blount & Curry West Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Drive in Tampa, Fla., where a service of remembrance was held.
