A Kittredge man accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting an Evergreen woman Dec. 29 waived his right to a preliminary hearing until March 15, while attorneys negotiate a possible plea bargain.
Joel Michael Herrin, 40, appeared at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, in front of Jefferson County Judge Bradley Burback.
Herrin has been in the Jefferson County jail since the day of his arrest under $500,000 bond.
Herrin is accused of going to the woman’s house for a housecleaning job and then assaulting her when she tried to leave for work
