Her family drove eight hours to Omaha, Neb., to watch her swim. Classmates and friends have dropped her phone calls, text messages and Facebook posts. There’s no doubt that Lexie Malazdrewicz has her share of support.
And even though she may not be headed to London for the 2012 Summer Games that’s not to say that Malazdrewicz didn’t put her best foot forward at the U.S. Olympic swimming trials last week.
She certainly did.
