Landowners, JCOS continue to talk about dog park

-A A +A
By Corinne Westeman

Jeffco Open Space remains in discussions with one or multiple landowners about acquiring a site for a new off-leash dog park in Evergreen.

During an April 3 staff briefing, Parks Director Tom Hoby told county commissioners that he was meeting with the landowners this week.

“Trying to force a land negotiation is not beneficial,” Hoby said. “I can’t give you a timeline. I can say that we’re pursuing this with zeal.”
