A new emergency-notification service is available to residents and businesses in the Evergreen Fire Protection District who would like to receive alerts on their mobile phones as well as land lines.
This CodeRED system replaces the problem-plagued FIRST CALL or 911.net, said Doug Saba, fire and life safety educator for Evergreen Fire/Rescue.
