Maybe it was Elizabeth’s 2-3 zone defense. Maybe it was the play of freshman Jake Gavitt. Maybe, just maybe, it was Evergreen looking ahead instead of focusing on the task at hand. Whatever it was it wasn’t good for the Cougars.
