Homeowners file lawsuit to prevent church expansion

A group of Lookout Mountain residents has filed a lawsuit in hopes of overturning the Jefferson County commissioners' controversial decision to allow an expansion of the Activation Ministries church.

After failing in its quest to persuade the county commissioners to reject the church's request for a special-use permit, Lookout Mountain Residents United is taking the battle to the next level, namely the courts.
