Holiday decoration policy on park-district agenda

The Evergreen Park and Recreation District board has listed the "holiday decoration procedure" as an agenda item for its regular meeting on Tuesday, April 24, at Wulf Rec Center, 5300 Olive Road.

The board will take public comment and then have a discussion. The item is scheduled for 6:50 p.m.; the meeting starts at 6 p.m.

The policy governing holiday decorations at Evergreen Lake made news last December when a menorah display traditionally erected at the lake was prohibited. The district subsequently permitted the display.
