Former Evergreen Crafters building demolished

-A A +A
By Corinne Westeman

The building that was once home to Evergreen Crafters in downtown Evergreen has been demolished.

The 117-year-old cottage on the corner of Douglas Park Road and Main Street was partially torn down in February 2016 after being vacant since 2008.

A demolition crew tore down the rest of it Monday.

In February 2016, Jeff Bradley, an engineer for the Ross-Lewis Trust, which owns the property, said he hoped to restore the building to how it looked in the 1930s, when it was a rustic tea room.
