Floribel (Noni) Hamilton, 86

Noni Hamilton of Evergreen passed away Monday night, Nov. 7.
She is survived by her son John Hamilton and family of Montana, and her daughter Candice Binsted and family of Evergreen.
Noni was a loving wife and mother and adored by many in the community. Born in North Hollywood, Calif., Noni graduated from Sherwood Music School, often playing as a studio musician for recording talents. Noni worked at Lockheed Aircraft, where she met and married Wes Hamilton.
Noni was active in her children’s schools, serving on the PTA, and later driving one of the school buses to help pay for private school tuitions. She later worked as a production manager for Serv-A-Portion, a company that packages individual condiments for restaurants and cafeterias, and then became the secretary for Good Packaging magazine.
Noni was well-known for her love of shopping and the symphony. An Evergreen resident since 1996, Noni was actively involved in the Mountain Republican Women’s Club and Rockland Community Church of Golden.
A memorial service for Noni will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Rockland Community Church, 17 S. Mount Vernon Country Club Road in Golden.
