High fire danger has snuffed the annual July Fourth fireworks in Indian Hills for the straight second year, but the local fire department still plans to host a variety of patriotic activities on the holiday.
Indian Hills Fire Rescue will host its annual Independence Day fete on Thursday, July 4, with a pancake breakfast, live music, a beer garden and the always-popular parade on Parmalee Gulch Road.
The schedule is as follows:
• Pancake breakfast, 7 to 11 a.m.
• Air Life helicopter fly-in, 10 a.m.
