Zuni Sign Company owner Ed Bischoff believes that he should have been awarded a contract to create 17 signs for the Evergreen Park and Recreation District.
After reviewing four proposals, EPRD Executive Director Scott Robson and his staff chose the Al Lenzi Group of Lakewood for the project. Lenzi’s bid came in at $64,819, which was close to Bischoff’s bid of $64,993.
“Everybody has said this doesn’t make any sense,” Bischoff said while voicing his objections to the decision at the Sept. 25 meeting of the park district board.
