DENVER — Keigan Drysdale, with tears in her eyes, walked to center court and clutched the 4A state girls basketball championship trophy.
“It was insane. I never thought that we would be here. I would never have thought that I would be the only senior on a state championship-winning team, and I couldn’t have done it without my team,” Drysdale said. “The reason that we’re so good is because we all need each other. We all use each other. It’s not just one player. I can’t stop crying.”
