The curtains have closed on the seven screens at Evergreen’s Bergen Park 7.
The theaters, which had been part of the community for 17 years, showed their last movies on Sunday.
Owner AMC Theaters has been trying to sell the 19,370-square-foot structure and the 2½ acres of land for the past several months.
Nearby business owners and patrons are disappointed in its closure but also know that many Evergreen residents are going down the hill to see movies or renting from online movie companies.
